Well, I'm glad to see at least one other person around here is still seeing clearly on the Iranian issue this evening. Way to go, girl! All I've seen on Iran tonight around here (in the 'questions' at least) is the usual liberal crap about how America is being so unreasonable and how Iran might just suddenly start being nice if mean ol' President Bush just promises not to blow them to kingdom come.
My hat is off to you, dear lady.

If you want to sympathize with the terrorists, you first must convert to Islam.............or die.
Special note to Kris13iam: If we invaded Iraq and Iran for the oil, ask yourself why we went into Viet Nam or Korea (no oil in either place, just oppressed people) and, more importantly, if oil is the key, why didn't we just keep Kuwait after we drove the Iraqis out?

Because we are free and prosperous. We prove that socialism does not work. A lot of people hate that. Free societies have the haves and have nots. However, conservatives and liberals look at the problem differently. Liberals want to tear down the successful because they feel it is not fair that some do and some do not. Conservatives want equal opportunity available and those who want to take it will. Those who do not will not.

I really have not seen many Iran sympathizers here, most Americans view Iran as a threat. Let me say it is the Iranian government that is the threat. Not the people. Just like it is the American government that is the threat to them and not the people.

I agree, though the question was a somewhat convoluted. It's politically incorrect to point out the actual bad guys and not take the blame on your own country, if your are a liberal. Basically, another denial of the truth.

You got it wrong.
Assuming you are American , and asumming 'we' means me and my fellow Americans, then you ARE the bad guys.
You, i.e. your government has already invaded two Arabian countries under totally false pretences, and now are planning on doing it to a third.
Most of you believe the utter rubbish which is in your press and your TV, and are totally incapable of research and analytical thinking.
Iran has no nuclear weapons, the UN agency has said they have no nuclear weapons, they themselves have said they have no intention of building nuclear weapons, and even if they did it would take six or seven yerars.
You are planning to invade them in yet another completely illegal war, and massacring hundreds of thousands of innocent people, just like in Iraq, and you say you are not the bad guys.
I don't think you have the the slightest idea about the real world outside of Fox TV.

Iran is not the victim and I don't like clerics running a country and don't like its President rhetoric and fundamentalist selfrighteousness (same as your President's). But the US is the worst of the bullies. Of course, you as an individual US citizen is not the bad fellow here, but you'd better come to terms with what your country represents to the rest of the world: a real threat

because the USA government thinks it can tell OTHER NATIONS WHAT THEY CAN AND CANNOT DO IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES.
WE ARE NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE THE WORLD POLICE
we have enough problems here
we cut funding for education and the poor but yet we seem able to find BILLIONS of dollars to rebuild a foreign country that we destroyed. THAT IS F*CKED UP
