Not by *69 but you can in turn block an unknown number that has come through. If you are crank calling there is a number that you can put in to register the number calling you with the telephone service provider. Hope this helps.

Hi Nikki,

No once you use #67 it totally blocks your number, when the other person tries using *69 gets a message that this call has been blocked & please hang up. Have a good day!

Be careful. The blocks do not work all of the time and a lot of companies have equipment that routinely disregards the block and they can see your number.

Many paid answering services are set up so that the ID goes through and the block does not work. Although it works most of the time, it doesn't work all of the time and if someone wants to get a type of system where they see it, they can.

If your number is blocked, there is no way to trace your call back by doing *69. It'll come up as "Unknown" on caller I.D. and when the person tries to trace it back. Hope this answers your question.

it will show up on the phone bill but most people dont go looking through the bill looking for the person who called. but if they get mad or something they can call the company and asked who called them because they probably know when someone uses *69
