how do i find the blueprints for my home that was built in 1938? and the name of the type of home it is?

I work at our courthouse. we do NOT have surveys nor floor plans that date that far back. No storage room. I suggest you ask any elderly neighbors if they know. Thats almost 60 years ago. Try an architect. You might come to all dead ends. Also your local library might have newspapers from that far back. They might talk about builders or contractors. Maybe you could track them down if they are still alive. good luck. m
