"You've Got a Friend" by Carole King (or James Taylor.....they both sang it, but I can never remember which one wrote it!)

There's a song by Diana Ross called "Reach Out and Touch Someone's Hand" which has to do with uniting with others to make things better and how much good would it do to our world.

"You've Got a Friend", Carole King, a good song for a long time friend that you don't see as often as you'd like to. It sort of says "We may not stay in touch much any more, but all you have to do is call, and I'll come running... you've got a friend."

I think that's the name of it. Remember that song in the 80's with all the popular artists singing together? I know it says 'that's what friends are for' in the chorus, but I don't know if that's the name of the song.
