My computer is lagging the clip I'm trying to watch from a CDR. How can I speed up my computer so the film runs smoothly without lag or freeze-framing?

Close out other applications or stop anything that is using up precious RAM. You probably should close some applications that are running in your background (via the systray-which is next to the clock).

On low settings, you're possibly finding at perhaps 25 fps at suitable overall performance. Odds are, you will see that drop to below that. you will accepted possibly 15 fps. Your best project this is the integrated photographs. integrated photographs suck, era. i do no longer care what absolutely everyone says, integrated photographs are crap. Your processor is likewise somewhat susceptible. a million.6Ghz twin-center is quite sluggish by using as we communicate's standards. My laptop is 4 years previous and it has a 2.3Ghz twin-center. Hell, my netbook has a million.6Ghz of twin-center. you may supply that computing gadget greater RAM, yet all this is going to truly do is load the sport (no longer each and every point, basically the sport initially) slightly speedier. you will could desire to spend some greater money in case you desire to run that sport on any further acceptable settings, or you will could desire to purchase a working laptop or laptop. (word: i'm assuming this could be a computing gadget because of the fact this has integrated photographs and a computing gadget sequence of processor.) @Deniz, the numbers basically designate what sequence it falls below. It has little or no to do with what the time-honored of the cardboard is. virtually each and every man or woman could make a card and phone it some thing loopy, this is all based off a similar stuff. it is not significant if this is the AMD 9 bajillion, this is nonetheless an integrated card, and it will fall far wanting any expandable PCI interfaced card.

If you notice a lag on a video clip then it is likely you need a faster video card. A computer can have either integrated video graphics to the motherboard or a separate video card. Integrated video is slooooow. Reboot your computer, early on in the process, the computer should display if there is an independent video card or just integrated graphics.

Do disk cleanup and clear your cookies and other unnecessary internet files and see if that helps. Transferring pictures to a flash drive will free up RAM. Go through your e-mails and clean out the old ones you don't care about. In other words, do some computer-keeping (like housekeeping). Good luck.

Play it on the hard drive because maybe it requires more data reading for movie playback. I guessing that you are using a slower type cd-rom drive.

Try to delete any unused programs... I found that that helps. If that doesn't work maybe the CDR isn't good. (I'm assuming your saying C-D rom when you say CDR)
