Most definitely! He lied about why we're there, how many troops and for how long, the cost (monetarily and otherwise) and the whole debate about WMD just annoys me! Democrats have been kicked for voting for the war when they were listening to the president and trying to find the sense in it after 9/11. Everyone wanted to believe in what the president said, even the Democrats. it must have been a good speech

Would George W. Bush - the man whose brother helped him steal the 2000 election - lie to the American people? Man, how can you even suggest such a thing? Don't you know that Dubya is an honest, truthful, forthright Christian gentleman who would never lie? How can you think such horrible thoughts about the man who is helping lead the Iraqi people out of the quagmire of Saddam Hussein's dictatorship by giving them a democracy they don't want and certainly aren't ready for with a minimal loss of American lives? And aren't you proud to have such a wonderful leader in charge - one who cares for everyone - one who sets a wonderful example for other world leaders as shown by his tender, loving touch of the German leader in giving her a back rub? Now, that is compassion. And such a person as that would never, ever lie to us! We all know that the news reports coming out of Iraq about Americans dying are the exaggerated reports from a liberal media and that only a little over a dozen or so Americans have really died in the cause of freedom. And because he is so compassionate, Dubya would insure that no more than that would be allowed to die before he brings the troops home.

Of course, the son-of-a-***** lied and may he rot in hell for it.

yes, i think he did. they have yet to find alot of the stuff he said was going on. i get on the chat line some times. and this person from Egypt told me they don't want the Americans there in Iraq. that the tarriest and the American solders are fighting. and destroying Iraq. he said Iraq has not been rebuilt yet. and that we should of never went there. when we finally do pull out of there, whats going to happen to those people over there. Saddam in jail. that place is going to be mad. I'm beginning to think we should of left things alone there. with Saddam in power, the tarriest was kept at bay. he said the people over there are saying the American gov don't know how to keep out of other country's affairs, and were only over there is because of the oil. the whole situation is crazy.

LIES, LIES, LIES, there are NO weapons of mass destuction, when I think of WMDs I think George Bush.. World's Most Dangerous. He said oil production would pay the cost, so far the US tax payers has wasted 400 BL$$. He said a quick victory with Iraqis with roses to greet US soildiers, so far close to 3,000 Americans have been slaughted. The country of Iraq has been destroyed and the citiczens are living worse lives than when Sadam was in power. He said the war would end terroism, instead he has given terroist the freedom to organise and increase there barbarianism.

I believe that he did because of the fact that we went from Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan because of 9/11 to Saddam Hussein in Iraq in a very, VERY short time span.

It's great that we got Saddam out of there but there wasn't a well developed plan. Instead we are stuck in an ongoing rut that is just causing things to get worse.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

No, the media and liberals have lied and distorted what Pres Bush has said about Iraq. I watched him live on tv right before we went into Iraq. Here is a synopsis of part of the speech:

1. We defeated Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War.
2. By doing so, we have the right to dictate the terms of his surrender.
3. Since we were the stronger power, what we say goes.
4. Part of that agreement was Saddam was to allow UN weapon inspectors unfettered access.
5. Saddam refused to honor this part of the agreement.
6. Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds in the North.
7. Since Saddam breached the contract, we did not have to honor ours.
8. War is on, we finished the job.

I do not care about whether WMD's were in Iraq. I know they were there. Saddam admitted it. The UN admitted it. Regardless of this, my statements above give us one legitimate reason to be there and this is enough for me.

Besides, we are there. We need to move forward, not focus on something we cannot change.

I have a better question, did George Bush ever tell the truth about anything. I sure can't think of one thing that he has not misled the American people. Born again Christian indeed.
