I want to know how to make musictone of music I listen to. I have a USB cable, but now what? Does anybody know of any software?

u really shdnt need software, just use mp3 splitter(get from downlodas.com) split em plug in usb and then transfer ringtones hopefully your comp will recongnize your phone if not you got extra to do

I usually get music from my ipod to use for cellphone ringtones. If you want to cut a portion of the song, I usually use the sound recorder from Windows. You can also download free software for editing music in download.com or tucows.

that is called stealling... unless you get it from a cd or a mp3 player. if so then just copy the song onto your computer then RIGHT CLICK the song and send it to your phone. it should be able to find it and then juast select it as your ring tone. (you have to have a cell phone that will be able to play music ringtone though. email me at ford_luva_21@yahoo.com and tell me what cell phone and company you have and i will tell you more info.

i went to bitpim.com and got my softwear...just google it and there will be web pages that tell you where to go
