I dont know the average prices, but I think there's a store called hot topic. I haven't been in there before, but I think it's goth.
anyway, both the westfield oakridge and westfield valley fair malls in san jose have hot topic.

Have you tried Hot Topic? I know they have those in the malls in California. They also have a website so you can check that out too.
