Free shoe shines
Free hair cuts
Free towels, combs and hairbrushes
Free gymnasium and swimming pool service
Free Medical examination
Free prescriptions
A $3,000.tax deduction for living away from home
No Income Tax in D.C.even if they lived there
A free set of $1,000. law books to keep
Free custom, made storage trunk to pack the books in
Free rooms for cocktail parties
Free help to serve at parties
Free staff service as required
Free parking for their private autos
Free mail
Free trips abroad for ridiculous reasons
Discount meals at government cafeterias
Confidential expense accounts for their staffs and services
Retirement benefit of 12.5% of their salary after only 5 years
High paid staff positions for their wives, children and relatives
Many more free items that are not publicized.

That was 1976. Imagine what it must be now?.
