i woke up one mornin
i opened my eyes and i heard some voives wispering from my dream last night
and i told myself
you dont tell me what to dream oh oh of
you dont tell me what to think oh oh of
i've got my own life and i got it goin
(this is my own poem that i wrote)

Do you think you got what it takes?
A challenge, what's how I interpret.
Writing poem is not my cup of tea
Being no good at it, as you can see.
The best poem gets 10 points
Lots of us rushing to join.
10 points is not what I'm after
Will my poem be the best, I wonder?

the computer is burning my eyes...
my head is going blank
if i can't figure something out
i will not join the top rank
i look in a book to find it
my exasperation i cannot hide it
what can i say what can i do
to convince you I'm the best at writing it?

A gift from me to you
The Lord above sends all His love
Though talents have I few
The knack to write is like the light
That let's you see my view.
