first & easiest, check you aireator, then work backwards to the faucet, supply lines , then pipes. unscrew aireator & clean it... while off run both hot & cold for a bit & see if some junk comes out. if you have a single handle faucet, cut the supply, remove the cartridge & inspect to see if full of junk, put a towel over it disasimbled & breifly turn on water Hot & cold, if you get pressure at any point the previous item is the problem!

If your shower has normal water pressure.....check the valves under the sink....to make sure they are on all the way.
If it's an old house the pipes may be getting calcified and may need replacing.

There is a screen on the mouth of the faucet(where the water comes out) Check the screen and see if it is clogged.

Install an unvented cylinder (upgrade mws if necessary), and if you're feeling green, install a solar panel/s and you'll have power showers and 60 - 70 % of your hot water bill paid for (with a well installed system)

remove the small aerator on the facet ( the screen thing) replace it with a new one

the problem is going to be your pipes there to small. If you know a friend who can plumb change your pipes out. i don't know of anything else we had the same problem
