I went out to have a good time and to celebrate my sister-in-laws birthday. While at a straight bar a girl pinned me up against the bar while my sister-in-law was in another part of the bar. She was rubbing up against me telling me how much she wanted to kiss me and how hot I was. I was at first a little shocked and was trying to be nice, but she was very persistant. She said that she wouldn't leave me alone unless I kissed her. I was starting to get scared and was asking for help from other people in the bar that were next to me, but no one would help me. They were guys and were enjoying the scene. Finally my sister-in-law saw that I was in trouble and told the lesbian that I was "with" her. This lesbian was attractive, but I'm not attracted to women. She was also a lot bigger than me...that's why I was kind of scared of her. Do all lesbians act so dominant? I mean if this was a man acting this way someone in the bar would have probably punched him.

no, lesbians are definitely not like that. i am so sorry that you had a bad misfortune with this person, and she has only made it bad for us who are lesbians and gentle and nice in our ways. her friends should have done something and i feel that it was very poor taste that the men were enjoying the scene. i am a lesbian and i am sure that if i or any of my friends had seen this happen, it would have been halted quickly. i hope you do not think us bad, and i am happy that your sister in law observed and came to your protection quickly, not like the "stander-by people"

OK, you say you were at a straight bar, could this broad have been playing a silly prank on you or was she really for real? It is a wonder what she was hanging out there, too. Perhaps she was a wannabe, or just high enough to become physical and satisfy some fantasy in view that she knew you were straight and wouldn't reciprocate--also she found you an easy target in view that she was "bigger." Maybe someone dared her to come onto you as a prank. Probably some guys get turned watching a two-woman cat fight. I am surprised there wasn't security, maybe it was a high class club for gentlemen and ladies. Now then, I wouldn't like to interfere in one of those cat fights for fear of getting gouged, fingernail slashed, or have an eye plucked out. Your best bet would have been to call the police and make a report with a full description of this woman as an assault or physical something or other. In the future, carry a handy mace, use it and call the police!!

Just from my limited experience, I'd say the woman who gave you trouble was the exception, or as someone mentioned, just drunk.

Three years ago , while I was in the home building business, I built a new home for two women in a committed relationship. Neither was particularly 'butch', in fact one was a bit of a 'silly blond' (her words) and both were fun, nice, normal decent people. I enjoyed working for them very much. They were so good together, too, that when I saw their moments of affection for each other, kisses or hand holding, I was just so happy for them.

So no, all lesbians are not like that. And yes, if I saw a man treating you that way, I would have knocked him on his backside.

Really now... when I was 14 a guy I thought I liked asked me to get high with him, so I did. We took off behind the K-mart... the only hangout in our tiny town. Yeah, I know, STOOPID... but hey, I was a troubled youth.

He took this to mean I was okay with him forcing me to my knees and having his way with me... you can imagine the rest.

Attractive or not, and although I thought I liked guys at the time, he was a rapist. Did I think all guys were like this? Of course not. That's dumb.

As others have said, how would you have handled this had it been a guy? It should have been the same. It was the same. She was just a rotten person... or drunk.. or both.

No, not all. She might not have been a lesbian either. She could have been up on a dare or something. (after all, alcohol and people don't exactly mix wisely) Men are so weird with their obsession of two women together...So no, most lesbians are not that pushy.

We had neighbors that were lesbians. One was totally butch. She had biceps bigger than my husbands and throughout her home remodel she would operate a jackhammer and other assorted power tools with ease. She was pretty nice, but a little aggressive. Her partner was this passive woman who hardly said a word. I think you just came across a bad one, that's all.

NO... Not ALL of anything are alike...! I am sorry for your situation _ I try to avoid bars alltogether- I find alternative places to hang... and Most of the lesbians I know are home-bodies.

I think if i was that scared I would have spit in her face and then ran...!

I don't care if it was a lesbian, a gay guy or a straight guy. Anyone who doesn't take NO for an answer deserves to have the crap beaten out of them.

What you experienced was not consentual, no matter if it was a man or a woman. If it had been a guy you would have yelled bloody murder or simply stomped his foot and told him to FO.

Why didn't you this time? Learn to defend yourself, that woman had no business attacking you like that.

Your sister-in-law took you to a gay bar (ok..a metrosexual bar..better?) for a good time? Maybe she has eyes for you. You should tell her if your not interested in her or are hetero.
