Personally no....my wife and I have gone without a lot of "stuff" so she could stay home with the kids when they where younger. She was a Paramedic with 3 girls when I meet her and I had two children at home with me. She was capable of making a good living but WE decided to go without for the better of the kids. Its not like we had to eat beans every night....we just were not able to do some of the things we would have like to....but you know what....who cares. We raised 5 good kids...who are productive members of this upside down world....and we always had food on the table and cloths on every ones back and a roof over our heads....and in the long run what is it that really matters about your life? As long as you are a good person...and support your family as best you can....and that's not just with money and material things.

Depends I guess, If the bills were starting to pile up and they were causing problems and petty arguments then yes I probably would if I was making a conscious effort to find a better job also! I am a very flashy person and i tend to spend a senseless amount of money on clothes, shoes, cars and other things! While I make I good amount of money I still ended up spending more than I can afford most of the time and I rely on my fiance, who makes twice the money I do, to pick up the slack. Well that's not fair and so I just got a better paying position with a different company and now I'll be able to afford all the extras that I've convinced myself I need!! I love him and money isn't something I ever want to argue about, although that is the #1 topic married people argue about!! Don't make it a big enough deal to not give them a break but if he/she refuses and still spends majority of the money then Yeah I would because to me that shows a blatant lack of respect!!

Why, do you have some spoiled @$$ high maintenance chick on your back to make more money to support the kind of lifesyle that her daddy provided for her? I've tried to tell my brother that if he would scoop a girl up out of the gutter and be her knight in shinning armour, he would never be able to find, make, or program a better girl. If you are suffering with a spoiled girl, it's not gonna get much better. Dump her. For God sake don't marry her. And find yourself an appreciative woman.

of course more money would have you being able to have finer things and more comfort. but no why would you get rid of someone as you say is perfect for you but lacks money. Sometimes you can have lots of money but then not find the right person who is right for you.

I guess it depends on how important you value your luxury items. over a perfect person as you say.

No I wouldn't. Do they have a job at all? If they do, then what's the problem. Maybe they like their job or maybe they can't find a job that pays more.

If the person complaining doesn't like it, they should find a higher paying job.

No excuse for divorce.

If she is not beating you, don't leave.

If she is hitting you over the head with the fry pan, then leave.

Stick it out.

No; that would be cruel and it shows that you really don't love that person. They'd be better off without you.
