if a guy has 4 or 6 girls they get applauded for and is considered a player WHEREAS if a girl does that she's a whore...not that i'm promoting promescuity but i dont think it's right! why be so judgemental? what's your opinion about it? thank u!

Men have always set the standards for women unfortunately. They want a saint in public and a whore in the bedroom.
Magic One has a point although the prowess of some men who degrade women could be because those men force themselves on women. All and all, men should watch out, we aren't done with you yet!!

This is the classic double standard of patriarchal society. Men are the conquerors. Women are to be conquered. Women are to be taken, they're not actually supposed to enjoy sex. These by the way are the classical positions of conservative men.
And just to be accurate, research shows that conservative men are more sexually experience that liberal men. This of course flies in the face of conservative mythology which mis-defines liberalism as promiscuity. The reason liberal men are less experienced is that they treat women as human beings and take their feelings into account. Conservative men on the other hand tend to dehumanise women and are primarily concerned with their own satisfaction. I'm not making this up folks, there are research studies.

Personally, I am a guy that loves women that have a lot of partners. Better odds for me. I also don't look down on them for something that I am doing. That would be rediculous, and yes it is a common double standard.
