They've found red blood cells of a Tyrannosaurus Rex just a year ago. It's been isolated. So, there's no doubt that this can happen, but the problem is, is there enough genetic material to begin to decode the whole DNA sequence of a dinosaur? Most of it would decay beyond repair, and the guesses at the missing parts of the sequence would take years.
They've found mammoths frozen in the arctic, there are photos below.
I think the best bet would be to first recreate a Thylacine. Check out what that is on the last link.
I think it would be exciting to see any extinct species come back to life.

Um, they already have. In 2004 they found dinosaur skin. It was quite a breakthrough.

They found it in Northern Wyoming, and the skin was estimated to be 67 million years old, from the Late Cretaceous period.

Are you serious? Why don't they do something like they did in Jurassic Park? Umm, did you see that movie? I'm guessing not... The summary is, the dinosaurs ate the people. Which is probably why they don't wanna do that in real life. Just a guess though...

Well, like in the book Jurassic Park, they could try to use its DNA to clone a new live dinosaur. Though I don't know if they would succeed

they discovered a mammoth a couple of years ago, in the russian area, and it still had its fur. but if they will find something from the Jurassic, they will probably keep it under "TOP SECRET" for the next 10 years or so.

It is out there ready to be discovered.

You can be assured that whatever wrong Scientists do to it, everyone will blame GW Bush.

They might take DNA from it and try to create the same creature but alive. And if it happens to turn out right then lets just say we are all dead.

if it happens then some museum or governmental body will steal it from the finders and capitalize upon the discovery
