Because we live in gray areas... we are like chameleons and often change our position based on the current situation or the people involved! How many times have you witnessed someone who was adamant about a particular issue flip flop and take the other side in response to pressure from one source or another? Our politicians do it all the time in response to lobbyists!

It's never politically, or in my case literally, correct to say that anything affects EVERYONE's behavior as a whole due to the fact that we all do not experience the exact same situations with the same people.
