No bleeding during pregnancy is 'normal'

Every woman's body is different and reacts to each pregnancy differently. This MAY be normal for you. There have been women who kept their periods throughout their whole pregnancies, although they are somewhat rare.

I bled during my first pregnancy at four months and it wound up being the placenta tearing away from the uterus. Even though the doctor put me on bed rest I still miscarried at five months. That's not to say that this will be the case with you. As I said, different women react differently to each preg.

I hemorrhaged for two weeks with my second pregnancy. It started about a month after I got preg. That wound up being an Ectopic (or Tubal Pregnancy) that made the Fallopian tube burst. It came to be extremely painful and the doctor in the ER said that if I would have waited one more hour to come in I would have bled to death!!!

SO, The 'moral' to this story is: GO seek MEDICAL advise IMMEDIATELY or ASAP!!!

Seriously, you need to call your doctor NOW. It can be normal but none of us here can say that w/out being an OB, and having the benefit of examining you. I experienced that with one of my pregnancies at around the same time. They found out I had placenta previa and I was put on ultra light activity. There can be many causes for bleeding and only your doctor can tell you if everything is alright.

Good luck.

Call your MD and tell them what is happening. Also, lay down until you hear back from him.
I had this happen for a period over 2 months while I was pregnant. Altho I was terrified (I had lost a baby before) - everything turned out fine.
Your MD will want you to come in tomorrow for an exam.
Good luck and God Bless.

You should report any bleeding to the Doctor, during your pregnancy. It may be nothing but he needs to know. Good luck.

Don't listen to the rude people above. yes it can be normal, But you should always let your OBGYN know. Usually, if you have sex or exercise, you may bleed a little.....but your doctor should always know this is happening. Since it is the weekend, you may want to go into a walk in clinic or ER just to be sure! good luck

You should call your doctor as soon as possible. Have you had an exam recently? It can cause bleeding. Try not to do anything strenious, and GET IT CHECKED OUT as soon as possible. Good luck.
