I find your question very regionalist

but pick the scouser!!! cos I am one and we are by far more superior than most.

although Scots are sound people as the missus is part Glaswegian

I wouldn't employ a southerner though.. very dodgy

only joking

You should, of course, employ the best person for the job.

Incidentally, I myself am a scouser. I am extremely punctual, reliable and would not turn up in a stolen car.

We don't all have curly hair and shell suits (except on weekends).

i would suggest that basing your choice on one is a scot one is a scouser in no way the method for position filling. you must base your decision on the experience of the person and their suitability for the role. ask yourself about their situation in life at the moment. are either married ? do either of them have any children ? you could argue that the family man is more likely to commit to providing for his family ? my advice is if you still cannot decide, toss a coin

The scouser of course.
He only has to drive down the M62 each day to get to work.
The Jock has to drive down the M6 then the M62.
It's a much longer commute each day and that could make him unreliable.

I do find it worrying that someone's career hangs in the balance, depending on what a bunch of strangers on the internet tell you to do.

The Scouser. Their accent may be considered annoying by some, but they are entertaining!
I miss Brookside!
