Have been reading history, reviewing recent history on watchingHistory channel, and Discovery ch. , and LINK TV, and it seems to me the Arabs are not wrong in judging they have been oppressed by the US elite and persecuted heavily in recent times in some countrys. I'm not saying they are good at running their own affairs but I think I would have no problem pointing to many facts and teaching the desinfranchised that Westerners have been medling in their affairs for profit and power for a long time and on occasion committed atrocities. Given that and how caucasions have reacted with the same provocation, and oppression (by that same group who are also caucasions)
did we not act in a similar manner as they are now.

The major problem for us being we (I in this case) had to put forth great effort to discover what our media never has. We have a real news problem. I remember when I was a child how our teachers and the News then condemned the Soviets for doing what our news is do now

Americans don't even realize their own oppression. It is those few elites who pull the strings. Any thing that can make them richer and more powerful they will make right. It effects not only other countries but people right here in our own country. We don't get all the facts, or all the truth, news is very biased, and it is all the propaganda that continually, whether conscious or not, sets certain ideas in our heads. We are fed crap day in and day out, no matter where you go. Why is it that morals and values are going down the drain? Because people have been sold out to the things that bring instant gratification, but that works to the advantage of those in power, because we are all too busy satisfying our own wants and not questioning the true reality of things.

Some good thoughts there.

The media in this country lost their spines...probably about the same time Congress did....

"Arabs" encompass too many views and perspectives to analyze as to one "valid point"
