My car is plain white and has stock police wheels and a mounted search light. When a police officer passes me they pull me over to check my license plate, even though I haven't done anything wrong. How can I remove the light? Will this stop them from harrassing me? How about the wheels? Can I sell the light or wheels anywhere?

if you take off the light you will have a huge hole in your A pillar. you can get different wheels if you want different wheels. maybe go down to the police station and ask them what you can do to keep from being harassed by the police.

I bought a used NYC police pickup and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever with it from the police. You should have the spotlight removed as they are illegal in many states. Yes you can sell the wheels without any problems if you own the vehicle.
If you remove the light and wheels, this should stop all the harrassment. If you don't know how to remove the light, take the vehicle to a body shop and they can do it for you. Put the light and wheels on E-bay and you should get the best price for them.

ok, so which you got a automobile out of your neighbour and you have a reciept for the acquisition of the vehicle. If the plate on the vehicle became stolen and you will show that the plate became on the vehicle once you got it and you will show this with a stable witness the cost for having a stolen plate would be transferred on your neighbour. If the identity became fake there may be a criminal cost for this. something of the subject concerns are street site visitors act. quotes that frequently are undertaking to fines. in the adventure that your brother does not have a checklist, etc. there ought to be no penitentiary time. probable cause dude you could have stolen the cruiser. I had a Crown Vic Black and Gold CHIP California Highway Patrol car blacked out the doors and same thing. I even hooked up the wire to the spot light. Look like a detective then the problem will be gone or get a microphone from a CB radio and talk on it when you see them eyeing you.
