yes if they are tight and root bound loosen them up with your hands though don't hack at them if you loose some that's ok bannana's are weeds and come back fast.

Banana trees are so easy to transplant / repot. You may want to cut it back
1st to make it easier. Just try to save as much of the root system as possible.
All you need is just one root and it'll come back.

don't cut the roots, just break them apart some...try to spread them out if it's a tight root ball, that way they have an easier time catching in the new dirt.

no u dont cut the root if u cut it it wont grow just get a bigger pot or but it in the ground that way it will grow bananas
