As for his comedies: I liked the mermaid one, God, I can't think of it's name.
You know the one with a naked Daryl Hannah and the very funny John Candy as his brother.
Oh yeah: Splash.
In the same category "Turner and Hooch" was a good one.
As for a drama: "Road to Perdition" was marvellous, who ever thought Tom Hanks would play a hit man.
Then there was "Saving Private Ryan" (are you sure you only want one favourite?)
Or do such a great job as a gay man in "Philadelphia".
But for the all-round great flick of Hank's, nothing beats "Forrest Gump".

Oh I like them all I think! The Burbs was the first Hanks movie I saw though so I'll go with that one.
