Read the book Eaters of the dead by Micheal chriton. Its about these vikings who go back home to combat an evil from all time. Their oracle tells them to take an Arab with them (Antonio Banderas)When they get there, they battle these creatures(in the book they were Neanderthals) who carry off their dead. It is loosely based on the epic poem of Beowulf.
