tell him...duh, welcome to the real world. Nobody STAYS in love. people fall in and out of love with each other. you are not gonna be in love every minute of every day.
tell him...so, I fell out of love with you several times all ready, but I got over it. Now suck it up and take it like a real man!

7yrs, 2 kids he has issues, but it is what it is. That he loves you but he's not in love with you. Do you love your parents? Do you love the rest of your family? Do you love your friends? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then answer this: do you have the kind of love for them that you would for someone you want to marry? Of course you don't. You can love someone without being IN love with them. At one point he was in love with you. He has fallen out of that love and into a platonic sort of love. He still loves you, just not in the same way as before and not in the way you would like.

There are 2 options, depending on him. 1) fight for what you want. Show him how much he means to you, be spontaneous and romantic or 2) give him the space he seems to be asking for and maybe he'll come back.

Good luck!!!

Time for some serous prayer! Seriously, I have been were you are, and now my Husband and I are as tight as can be.

Communicate w/each other openly, honestly, and respectfully. Try to pin point when he started to love out of Duty ( obligation to you and the children), and not passion ( the desire he has for you). There may have been hurt in the relationship that he hasn't gotten over yet, address that if it's the case. And likewise for you.

And also, are you guys married, or boyfriend/girlfriend? If your just acting like married folk I would suggest couples counseling w/intent to marry. Marriage is Honorable by God. But whoremongers, and fornicators God will judge, and truth be told the two of you are just fornicating, and acting like married folk if your not married.

If he's not in love with you after seven years he's not going to love you. Its complicated since you have kids but you and your kids deserve to find someone who loves you and will make you happy. I'm sure your scared of being alone but you're a mom I know your strong and in the end it will be worth it for ALL of you.

Good luck!

Oh you poor thing, that must feel just awful (((hugz)))

I'm wondering if anything has changed, maybe you could ask him to become clearer on when his feelings changed & you may need to explore if this is enough for you now, it is gonna be hard cause children are involved, but sister if your not happy & content neither are the kids.....best wishes, glad your reaching out.......ring all your girlfriends up & keep them close your gonna need em!

and he will continue to love his children that doesn't take away from anything.

This decison must be made by you. Can you live with someone who says i love you but not IN love with you.

You can love a pair shoes too but not be in love with them.

That depends on your own makeup inside.

Hanging on to someone who doesn't love you never works out. and your robbing him and yourself of finding happiness else where. but thats your decision you have to make. He's telling you as easy as he can.

Why prolong whats inevitable

Call his bluff! What the hell kind of a thing is that to say to someone? Don't you deserve better? Sure you do! Tell him he's free to go, and child support can be paid on Friday!

Stop worrying about him and focus on you and your children. He's a jerk for saying that, how are you suppose to feel after that. I'm sorry you have to go thru this. Hopefully he is just going thru a phase.

There's a big difference between loving someone and being in love with someone. He is not in love with you..let him go...

You need to ask him what does that mean, and why he isn't in love with you. And you may want to ask yourself is this enough? Can I be involved with someone that is not IN LOVE with me?
