Don't get me started.........oops too late I feel another rant coming
America you are just bollocks as a nation. fat, stupid, illiterate, warmongering assholes with nothing better to do than slag everyone else off.
You only get involved with any conflict if you think you can gain something for yourselves out of it.
Terrorism has been around for centurys and yet it took someone attacking you personally for you to get involved, now "the whole world" has to stand up against it. That makes you arrogant, bush(president)then in his infinite wisdom goes and attacks iraq(w.m.ds indeed) Makes you wonder why,Well I'll tell you why because of the fu cking oil fields that's why.
Something you can pillage whilst telling the rest of the world how much safer it is.
Arrogance yet again is one of the least likeable traits a human being can possess and yet YOU ALL are arrogant, the "rest of the world" Hates you for it.
So america do the rest of the world a favour, learn to speak english(properly) same goes for spelling(illiterate b*stards) Stop eating yourselves to death(er no forget that one)and **** off.

thanks carla. x

Sweetie you can't put all Americans in the same category, we are all different and just as varied as you are in the U.K. I have visited London and a few smaller places in England and can tell you that everyone has this desire to categorize others. It's the same here in the U.S. where I live, in Mexico where I was born and still visit family,in France,Spain, and Italy where I vacationed. All people in every country think that where they are from is better then others, even if they acknowledge that there are major things that need to change, it's like their family. You may realize that your parents are insane, but after hanging out out at a friends house and they do things a bit different then your family does you can;t help but think, " these people are STRANGE!!" and quickly run home to tell your family. Anywhere you go people will judge others, they will be too fat, too smart, too skinny, too dumb, too rich, too poor, too many kids, not enough kids, too nice, too mean, too sensitive, too rude, too whatever.HOWEVER, as someone who is a oddly considered a minority even though I am an indigenous person to North America ( would anyone ever say that there are too many Japanese in Japan?? Hispanics ARE Native Americans people!!! Why do you think we are brown???but I digress)I can attest that there is this train of thought that Americans, so long as they are white should always have things a certain way.THEIR way, things are made so that all things have been washed of all negativy, all discomfort, and any discernable ethncity or culture. ( try selling these people blood pudding and you will see what I mean) I am sorry if anyone from my family has offended you and they way you live across the pond, but my family is large and I can promise you that we are not all the same.

I came to America 6 months ago from the UK with similar but not as extreme views as yourself. My two teenage sons, 17 and 19 had the same and stronger views as yourself. Having visited me here in Seattle, they now have changed their minds completely. I have found everyone to be very nice, intelligent, fun and above all positive. How unlike the grumpy moaning put everyone down attitude of England, the precise reason I left. Every country has a real cross section of every type of person, try opening your negative mind and visit the Pacific Northwest, I guarantee that you will see that your views are incorrect and, like my sons, you will probably want to stay.

Honestly as an American i view your opinion as a bit stereotypical considering every nation has it's whine bags not just America .

Lets see.. What are we the best at? ..We are the most powerful nation on earth and still the richest Nation with the worlds finest Military.

Everybody seems to think we are losing in Iraq and thats only because we are trying to spare every civilian life we can.. Come on if America really unleashed it's might we could turn the Middle east into a giant radioactive sheet of glass in seconds if we wanted to..

Am i proud of what George Dubya Bush has done to our Nation and the world opinion of our country because of him.. absolutely not!
I count the days and truly hope his successor can repair what he's damaged.

I'm really sorry that you've gotten that idea about Americans. Sure there are a lot of over-the-top people in the U.S., but aren't they all over the world? What you see on t.v. and what you hear on the news isn't a true, down home American. I know that I am not the best and I for sure don't have the best of anything. I don't over dramatize anything. My life isn't perfect and neither is my neighbors.

I am an American who has never lived in the US. Odd, yes. I always have culture shock on the crap they watch on television, there news is poor and full of the Hollywood media, they have no style in their homes and it's usually sticky if there are kids (well, this doesn't matter, but legos in the kitchen?). I think the fact of taking for granted things, you guys have such huge salaries compared to the world. The prices are high, in other countries, you get better quality cheaper then your Walmarts. I am fortunate though that I have met some Americans who are very kind, mostly people from Georgia of the "ghetto". Those people seem to have such peace (usually the mothers).

No, 1st of all you would have to survey a cross section of the American People which of course you have not.

You Sir are being a racist, they just don't have turbans on their heads so no one complains.

I Play on xbox live, and for every arsehole Yank that i meet, there is another genuine friendly dude.

They do suffer from blinkered vision, but that is down to Mr Bush.

Are you still sore about how that Revolution turned out? Or is it because the sun doesn't always set on a piece of the British Empire anymore?
Take a chill pill, madam, and remember: YOUR Prime Minister climed into bed with the U.S. President, NOT the other way 'round!

not exactly. but a lot of those characteristics appear outwardly in a lot of americans mainly due to the fact that they're insecure. this in turn derives from being in a society that 'sets you free' at a very early age; so many of them suffer from lack of enough personal attention and are constantly trying to monger attention to themselves. most other cultures have a closely knit family structure and a closely knit local community and thus seldom suffer from a lack of attention and the resulting sense of insecurity.

A lot of us are depressed because other countries hate us and so we try to act happy but then people start saying were idiots when we're kidding so then we get mad, and then that's when other countries say we're mean. So really we're just depressed, some aren't but a lot are.
