its not like this has never happened before and the Dems did nothing about it except reward the culprit. I think this is a ruse fabricated by the dems, much as the report by Dan Rather, about Bush Was. This will certainly not affect my vote or anyone elses...

I think this is proof that no one gets it!!!

Foley's actions are not "republican" nor were any democrat's actions 20+ years ago "democrat".

ANYONE making this a political issue is stupid. The House and Senate and leaders of BOTH parties should be standing up saying this is WRONG and UNACCEPTABLE from a United States Congressman. Just because Teddy somehow made it past Chadaquidic (or however you spell it) does not make up for the fact that it was wrong.

The fact that the repubs are trying to down play it is offensive, the fact that dems are trying to use it is equally offensive.

When will the majority of this country, take back what is ours? These complete extremes have got to go! Both parties: start giving us REAL candidates - not criminals!!!!

Ahhh...now its the Repugliscums crying!
If it were vice versa...ADMIT IT...
You turds would be dancing in the streets.

Isn't it oddly strange that the Repugliscum
Religious Right Loons are not yelling and screaming
about THIS gay politician??? Hmmmm....why is that?

If the Foley fallout turns out to be the tipping point when the American public finally turns on the Republican Party and hands control of the House to the Democrats, it won't be because of Foley's perverted acts; it will be because of the GOP's perverted priorities. Not because Foley enjoyed the image of a young boy's "cute butt bouncing in the air" but because Hastert and company have made covering their own butts Job One.

Oh are right about this not affecting my vote...
Never did and NEVER WILL vote for
for ANY Repugliscum!

Interesting, after the incredible outcry over Clinton's tryst with Monica, and the millions spent to try and bring him down, that suddenly Republicans are so anxious to downplay Foley's transgressions.

Foley's targets were children. By all means, vote for him anyway; he's still on the ballot. It speaks volumes about your character, that you can so blithely dismiss such an abuse of power and trust, against a child.

As to the affect this will have on other people's votes, thankfully, not all of them are so unconcerned about criminal behavior in their leaders, or the welfare of children entrusted to them.

they've talked about it for like a week... the Clinton thing went on for MONTHS before his perjury... and it was legal...

the simple fact is... an election is coming up and if anything happens it gets blown out of proportion...

not at all...clear thinking folks know that the president is talking about the important issues at hand...the Dem's are smart tho....they have zero answers...zero solutions...they do however, hav one single agenda..."impeach bush"...they are not concerned about iraq...n.korea...afghanistan...iran....clear thinking folks realize what the world matters are...not when someone knew something and why Foley sent messages to an 18 year old..ca mon folks....you need to focus on the issues before us....if you want that...vote straight republican in Nov.
