I believe my ability to throw shapes and strutt my funky stuff will only be trully appreciated after i'm long gone (at best it's been described as mildly entertaining) Is there anything similar about you? If so, what is it?

i think my ability to recall every event that happens in a night out, no matter how drunk I get, is a skill that my girls laugh about but will be in awe of should I not be around anymore. (Nothing to be proud of I know, but incredibly useful to remember slips trips and falls, drunk dialling and kebabs)

I don't think it much will matter after I am dead what I did.

At the same time, the current system of the world & everything in it is changed by everything every person does.

So although I think little of my impact on others, I recognize that every part has a part to play, even if it is unkown how it all fits.

Interesting question!

;-)

If I dropped dead today, my family would be very, very, very surprised at how much grocery shopping, house cleaning, laundry, cooking, dish washing, pet care, car washing, waxing and cleaning and yard work I do all on top of working at a job outside the house. Not to mention all the little "extras" I'm asked to do during the week because everyone else is "busy".

I am quite sure that you are right about yourself. But me? No, I am nothing like that, I intend to be appreciated in the here and now.
