i was being charged with forgery 1 since it was not my fault that the people who asked if i wanted to work, what the company in NY called HRO INC. they sent me a check for $1,500. they wanted me to take out 300 for my time and send the $1,200 back to nigeria. i took the check to the bank and cashed it. i did not get the cash but the police were called and i was arrested. i asked what is going on? they said i was scammed/ set up or being framed. i had proof printed out with me and the company. next day i went to court, they did not call my name since i am partial deaf, i felt discriminated since the jail did not have hearing aide batteries. then no one explained to me unconditionally released forthwith. i almost flipped out that i thought i was going to be transfered to another jail or correction facility. i walked out free.
