A group home is a home for children in the foster care system who because of behavior issues or disabilities or sometimes even because there is no foster family available(are on a waiting list) ,the number of children is usually much smaller than in a institution and though it can vary a general no is about 10,naturally they are all of the same sex. There is either 24hr live in staff and can only consist of a married couple or 2adults in the day and 2 during the night. They are taught behavior modifications and life skills. They can be there until they are ready to function in a foster care family setting or until they turn 18. It is not uncommon for young children even preteen age due to a undeveloped bladder to not wake up at night and thereby have accidents and refer to among themselves as wetters. Considering the person volunteered that he was mentally challenged can explain him being so personal right away but I think its great that he's on the Internet playing checkers

A group home is a place where people live all together as a group. Such as a group home for mentally challenged people. or could be a group home for children without parents, or children with juvenile issues. the are normally staffed with several workers such as social workers. in the case of mentally challenged group homes it is usually because they are high functioning however, not well enough to live alone. So, this could be a reality, yes. God bless

Yeah I would almost say they are lying to you, but it is possiable. Group homes are usually for kids who act up and have to be seperated to be controlled basically as the first person said a foster home. Usually they get in trouble with cops and end up being put in the group home if I'm not mistaken. Maybe parents can get them put in I'm not sure.
