'00 Celica GTS (6-speed man) idles around 400-600 rpm and almost stalls (even in netreual). After pumping the gas pedal three or four times and/or waiting for the car to warm for a minute or two it works fine.

sounds like you have a problem with the TPS SENSOR (throttle position sensor). this controls the car's rpms at idle.

It's the tps like nate said,Or the idle is just a little too low.There is an adjustment screw on your throttlebody that you can turn in a little to idle at about 750rpm. But if that don't work it's the TPS It's usually a cheap part.And nbr660.It's fuel injected. It doesn't have a choke. The computer controls it from the....OMG THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR!

Check choke and see if it is working properly. Then check the idle screw or adjustment, and increase it, 400-600 is to low, it should be more like 550-650 rpm.

Have you recently disconnected the battery? Clean the carbon deposits off of the throttle plate. That will help. No check engine lights? Sometimes there is also an airflow meter that needs to be cleaned aswell...

Replace the oxygen sensor.

coolant temp sensor,computer thinks it is warm and will not give engine more fuel when cold,therefor it is to lean and is hard to keep running untill it is at operating temp.

preliminarily I'd say the chock is sticking
