i have a 5 year old friend named rob he lets me feel his tummy go up and down what makes tummys go up and down

he contracts his diaphragm which makes it seem as if his stomach is going up and down.

With inhalation, the descending diaphragm drops inferior to the inferior margin of the ribs and invades the abdominal space causing the "stomach" to extend outward.
