The unit that shifts it into 4x is either not working or the vacuum hose is off of it. I have a "94" and I looked at how it works. I don't think you have an electrical problem from the way it looks, but check your fuses to make sure. The culprit is probably a bad worn, cracked, split end, or completely off vacuum hose. Mine works off a vacuum hose that runs from the top back of the engine, and goes down to the actuator on the side of the 4x unit. If this don't help, go to the parts store (like auto zone) and get this book number #24071 Haynes manual. It doesn't cost much considering there is a wealth of information in there about your vehicle. I think I paid $12 for mine. It gives you the complete breakdown of the system and has pictures to aid in doing the repair job. This ought to solve your problem. Even if the actuator is bad, they don't cost much, and they are rather easy to change. Good Luck!!

Right, try Ebay
Most posts, are for CDs, that are not specifically for your vehicle, but are a general serivce disk. Keep looking.
Items up for bid on Ebay change every day. If you dont see what you need, just wait a bit.
Oops, the post I saw is for 1995, not 94. sorry.
Be patient, dont buy a CD, ....
