k, so i got invited to this really popular person's party, and i dont know what to wear or what type of present to get her. im not really in the popular group but some of my friends are.....what should i do and how should i act??

It depends what kinda party it is. I'm going to presume it's a birthday party if you have to take her a present, it's difficult to say without knowing what she likes. As to how you should act, I think that you should go in there and say hello to the first friendly face that you know and maybe a conversation will start from there, if so, others will join in and before you know it you'll be wondering what on earth you were worrying about. The worst thing you could do is to pretend to be someone that you're not.

Popular is not a word to describe any group of people!!
You can be popular amongst your own group of friends but not something like school. O and while im telling you the truth... most people hate the "popular" crew, because they are cruel and mean to everyone!

Ask your popular friends to help you pick out something to wear. As for a gift, unless it's a birthday party don't take any.

Don't freak out! You'll find out in a few years that no one is cooler than you are, and you will make the best friends just being yourself. (Coolness doesn't matter after high school--it's just you and your friends.) Get her a gift you would like to get yourself. That's what I usually do, and girls are pretty easy to please because there are so many gift possibilities. Have fun at the party!

Just go and be yourself. If you weren't "in" the click, you wouldn't have been invited. As far as a gift goes, ask one of her closest friends what kind of things she likes.( if you don't already know) Have fun!

just give her something you would like or money but be yourself I'm popular and would not care if you showed up in rags but i would where dressy jeans and a great dressy shirt show a Lil cleavage and some matching pumps and a cute Lil queen latifah pimp hat! good luck!
