There are several STD's that can be transmitted without having sex. Herpies is the most well known, which can be contracted through kissing or using the same lipstick/chapstick as someone with a cold sore. Crabs is not really an STD. Crabs or Scabies are actually little bugs, simmilar to fleas or lice, and can be contracted in such simple ways as sleeping in the same bed as someone who has it or wearing the same clothes.

Whether penetration or Oral, yes you can contract a STD. STD is transmitted by exchange of body fluids. So, just because you don't have penetration, doesn't mean there wasn't an exchanged of fluids. Becareful and educate yourself!

Yes you can.Herpes is spreading like wilfire and you can get this from kissing,and it could be spread to the genitals through oral sex.You should really read up in some medical books.Go to google and type it in, i know for sure about herpes but i know there are others i'm not sure which ones though

Well technically any exchange of bodily fluids can lead to infection, but STD means Sexually Transmitted Disease and so therefore to get a Sexual Disease you have to have sex.

yes. usually the kind that can be transmitted through skin contact as well, such as crabs or HPV.
Or, if you have a cut or open sore, then you can get infected that way.
