I would suggest you rent a car with a driver.
Do not try to drive in India.

If it is for day trips only, most taxis will rent on daily basis and they have all the sights to visit too.

Ask your hotel to help you.

Yes you should. I could say voler cars is the best and affordable in terms of renting a car. I myself hired a car when i was in delhi.
Make sure you read the terms & conditions carefully before booking.

No. Those streets are crazy - loaded with cars and bicycles and cows and oxen and kids. Get a personal driver which will cost about all of 20 dollars a day. When you're visiting somewhere he'll just go take a nap or whatever.

Mainer is right. The traffic there is chaotic, it would be better to have a driver. Plus, you would want to have someone that knows where they are going.
