What I do is sit on the toilet and position the tampon so its pointed slightly towards the small of my back. Which is probably a 30 degree angle, (only a guesstimation), and then pop it right in. If it doesnt feel comfortable, as in you can feel it in there, you have it in wrong, (not positioned correctly) you shouldnt be able to feel your tampon inside you. GOOD Luck!!!
PS read the direction sheet that comes in EVERY BOX. It gives good detailed instructions a diagram and informs you of TSS (toxic shock syndrome)

When trying your 1st tampon, always try the slender ones, like Tampax Lite or whatever your equivalent is your country. The slender ones are easier to insert at first. Also, aim at the small of the back. Good luck....

There's detailed instructions in the box. No, you don't stick it straight up exactly; it's more like you're aiming for the small of your back.

There should be an instruction book in the box. You point it slightly toward the small of your back. Not straight up.

You don't go straight up. You go more back. Down and back. Look at the paper that comes inside it. When you put it in and if you starts to hurt stop. Don't just try to mash it in there real fast you could hurt yourself. Better yet just use a pad....

Go to the store (shoppers or something). Tampax has a box that is a starter kit. It comes with everything you need to know about it! Detailed instructions and all- This should help you!

If you try to stick it in straight up, it just won't go in because your vagina is tilted back toward your lower back. Once you find the angle, that baby will slip right in!

You actually put it slanting slightly back and you oush it in you shouldnt be able to feel it but if its uncomfortable take it out and try again with a new one and usually it has instructions in the box where they all are.

Just make sure it's ALL the way in or it could cause some discomfort and then you have to take it out and put a new one in. Waste not want not ;) Good luck honey!
