Yes, Wear what you want, its only your teen years. My niece always wore mix match clothes ,and now she dresses real well for a 23 year old.It only a fad we all go threw. When i was a kid ,it was mini dresses and hot pants,my friends parents,wouldn't let them wear them.As long as my sons don't come home with Pierce's all over their faces,and tattoos every where. I know they will grow up some day.

of course! luckily i have a mom who lets me dress any way i want unless its too revealing. I'm a little into prep-goth, sometimes "cholo" to those who speak my wonderful language of Spanish. I'm into all styles EXCEPT emo or skater style. its so stupid and gay, especially for girls. Etnies is a brand i detest. well, i do like funky eye shadows, eye liners, and other stuff. anyway tell ur mom that you're not a little kid anymore and you want to choose what you want to wear because its a way that you express yourself, and it hurts your feelings when she doesn't want the way you think, want or believe to show in the way you dress, and what you feel comfortable in is very important. but please dress how you want to, not what your friend wants you to. feel comfortable in the clothes you're in, literally.

i have 4 kids and I've never stoped them from dressing the way they wanted too. I might not like what they wear but it is how they express their individuality.

Well it depends, I think I agree with ur mom. I mean if u wanted 2 be prep (i am) or skater or jock or goth and she would let u it would be ok, but if she doesnt agree with this then she has the last say cuz she's ur mom.

no, parents should contol you until u can afford to pay your own rent. Syke, just as long as u dont do anything controversial or stupidly ridiculous, u should be free to express urself.
