I recently wanted to put tile in my bathroom and asked for one that was non slip. the clerk told me to use small tile because it was the grout that kept one from slipping, not the finish of the tile which was all slippery when wet especially.
If you can't get any special finish for the tile once its down, then area rugs and runners over the walking paths through the rooms are the only option I know of. '
BTW my cousin had her stairway done in marble and fell down it and broke her arm. The very next day the marble was out and the carpet was in.

I just use flash floor cleaner, they will always tend to be slippery, but you must clean up any liquid spills immediately
