They began DS9 close to the top of next Gen, Voyagre overlapped halfway by using DS9. Rumour has it that a script is circulating Hollywood for the Next Generation Crew to return to the movie screen...but Rick Baker..the producer (and creative mastermind) of the other movies will not be involved

yes they are making a prequel of star trek....it will be about Kirk and Spocks days at Starfleet academy
The director of MI:3 is directing the new ST ...should be out next year/early 2008

I heard there is a new movie to come out in 08. I don't know what it is about though. All I heard was that Matt Damon was to play Kirk in the younger years.
