The Amish people pleaded with the press to stay away from the services for the children and what is the first thing I see the morning, film of the procession....Why couldn't they just stay away? Seems like it would of been the decent thing to do.

Yes, I usually do change channels, and I rarely watch the news, nothing new, the only thing different in the names and dates. But I like Channel Nine News of Chicago, the morning show, they are hilarious, so I watch it to watch their antics. Thanks for answering.

The press sucks. They are way too conservative, and way too focused on the "culture of fear" crap.

Hi Tequila, The damn press always gos way overboard on what they are doing. The B A S T A R DS' will do anything to be the first to get their stories in. They don't give a damn about the people involve, just their damn stories.I think that something should be done about the press not honoring the Amish pleads.

The press does not know how to respect ones privacy. It is not as if they were some famous people who make tons of money to be in the spotlight. This was a real emotional situation and they should have respected that.

You are so right.. but if we really did change channels... rather than than the TV equivlent of "rubber necking the car wreck" the press might get the mesage.

the press can be very insensitive at times, like asking someone who's just lost a loved one........"how do you feel"? How do they think they feel.? they think they have the right to do or say anything they like because they are the press.

Procession is not the same as funeral: respectful, agreed upon distance. But I HATE the press.

Their job--what they do for a living---is to havoc our lives! No exception!
They come over for an interview and before left, the article is already being published!
Some of them --90%--are really antisocials!
Ciao......John-John.
