I can see that the world is going mad about money .In the past people used to sing and paint.. for the sake of art.They used to play football... for the sake of the game.But now businessmen are everywhere.They seach for money after all.Aren't fed up with these people on TV? Actors,singers,footballers greedy for money and making fun of you and me?

The world is obsessed by money these days, I have no idea why footballers, actors, singer or any other famous person is paid in large quantities of money, they command huge fees for everything they do these days, it wouldn't be as gut wrenching if they were actually worth watching, we have friends who are so influenced by money it makes me sad that they think that is what is more important than anything else in their life, they just dole five and ten pound notes out to their kids like sweeties just to shut them up and hope they will go away and leave them in peace for another 10 minuets, they flash the cash on weekends through drink, go on holidays they can ill afford and buy clothes they don't like or need just to influence other people with money, they are in so much debt I wouldn't be able to sleep at night worrying about it, but they just get yet another card or loan and start over again, money is causing so much damage in so many walks of life and love and values seem to have disappeared because of it.

its sick isn't it?! these days, most A-list celebrities and certain sportspeople, most notably footballers are in the showbiz world for the money and not much else. why don't they put their money where their mouth is and stop flaunting and milking their status by helping people less fortunate to themselves? in fact, why don't they donate some of their astronomical wages to numerous charities? yet the word greed has spiralled out of control; alas its one thing being famous and wealthy, its however another to not get so occupied with one's ego and to go out and talk to people about their concerns and things like that. money doesn't make the world go round- if that was the case, then poorer countries wouldn't be as poor as they are right now. nonetheless, money is not and doesn't revolve around everything and doesn't solve everything overnight. as the title of the abba song goes: 'money, money, money, must be funny, in a rich man's world' rings so true indeed, unfortunately.

I totally agree.Happiness, self esteem,family and friends are all far more important than wealth.
