Stretching exercises work well for this. I work as a nurse in the Emergency room. And I get pains in my neck, shoulders and legs. And the stretching exercises help me a lot. Also Ibuprofen which is OTC helps.

Just breathe. Listen to some music if it helps. Basically, relex yourself. Sometimes taking a nice hot bath helps.
