Yes - look into fertility clinics. There are a lot of ways that they can stimulate ovulation. If you are older, they don't even use your egg anyway (old eggs make genetically ill kids).
If all else fails then look at adoption or even fostering. There are tons of kids out there who need parents.
Good luck.

What type of doctor are you seeing, a GP or an OBGYN? If you are not ovulating, there are medications you can take to help you ovulate, such as Clomid or HCG injections. If you are seeing an OBGYN and he/she didn't offer any options for helping you ovulate, then either go to another OBGYN or a fertility specialist. Clomid is pretty common and fairly inexpensive. Your fertility decreases with age, so it's not uncommon for women with children to have problems conceiving a second one years later. I was 34 when I began ttc. I never thought I'd have a problem since both my husband and I come from large families, but fortunately I went to see my OBGYN right away because I didn't ovulate regularly and there were other medical issues preventing me from conceiving and carrying a pregnancy. It took 13 months to conceive, but had I not been to see the Dr., I might never have conceived.
Best of luck to you!!

The only way for you to know if you are ovulating is to take your basal body temp each morn, same time and before you get up. You should see a pattern in temps that leads up to and after ovulation. You can get the basal thermometer at Wal-Mart for about 8 dollars. I use a wonderful FREE website called Fertilityfriend.com...it graphs your temps for you, keeps track of your fertility signs, tells you when you ovulate and also tells you if there is an implantation dip in your temps. You can also use Ovulation prediction kits, but they only measure your LH surge and give you a ball park time for ovulation...they do not pin point it. Oh, and it is possible to be ovulating while you do not have your period, just like it is possible to have a period and not ovulate.
