Their purpose is to decieve you by giving you destorted truth and a false sense of security. If they scared the hell out of you, how would they accomplish their mission?

In my experience, demons try to give me a false sense of INsecurity!
I'd say they're more interested in tormenting me than scaring me, and I believe I inherited most of my demons from my family.

demons are demonic and try to scare you. they accomplished their jobs by killing you or scaring you. you know what...believe what you want but i believe in almost ALL supernatural stuff. if they arent demonic then they are ghosts. get it? DEMON DEMONic they both have the word demon, demonic is being demon like. so yeah

No, you are wrong. Demons are utterly evil and will always twist things to the most destructive they can. They are not deceptive or tactful or good at mind games. Ghost exist and are not demons.

Demons Are the servants of Satan and some of them are fallen angel's. Also their whole purpose is to destroy you. Yes they can hurt you and kill you in ways that not many people are able to concieve of. Never think of them as harm-less. And pray hard that you never meet one.

According to Max Freedom Long - they are parts of souls. Some are subconscious-like beings that have memories and emotions but cannot talk except symbols. Others are middle selves that can talk but have no memories. I find his explanation the most applicable of all - he demystifies everything - miracles and all.

I don't think they would, but then again the only evil I believe in is humanity based (as in I don't believe in 'demons')

haha..that's funny. perhaps sometimes they scare, other times they are disguised to trick us with false things.
