I am nine weeks pregnant and until 3 days ago I had quite a bit of nausea, some cramping, bloating,... Then all of the sudden all of that stopped. And since one of my friends' babies recently died at 8 weeks and she didn't know it until she went for her 12 week checkup, I am a little worried. Has anybody ever experienced pregnancy symptoms stopping so early and all of the sudden? I don't have another appointment until 3 weeks from now and cannot afford to get an ultrasound done in between.

I would call your OB and tell them what you've told us. They will likely tell you to come in so they can check you. It may or may not cost you money - if you are having problems, or potential problems, your insurance company will likely pick up the tab, but if you do have to pay out of pocket, isn't your peace of mind worth the cost? I pray you get good news.

First of all:

Lord I pray this woman and her unborn are not in any harm, and that all is well, Lord if it is your will please provide this woman a uneventful pregnancy, and produce a healthy baby. Amen

A sudden stop in symptoms could mean alot of things, including some bad news. If I were you I would go to my nearest ER, and complain of bad abdominal cramping, and spotting ( even though that's not the case), that will make you a priority in the ER, and they will do a HCG test ( pregnancy test to confirm at least a positive hormone presence in your urine), abdominal or trans-vaginal ultrasound ( to visually confirm pregnancy, gestational age, location of fetus), and they'll probably run a few routine cultures to check for STD's, also if you haven't already allow them to do a HIV/AIDS test, just to have it done and on file.

The happened to me several times when I was pregnant with our daughter. It even happened for a couple of weeks when I was seven months along!

Not every woman experiences every pregnancy symptom, and not every woman feels pregnant the entire time that they are!

If you're concerned that something has gone wrong, call your doctor's office and tell them that you need to be seen now. It is part of a doctor's job to listen to your concerns and address them. Make your doctor do his (or her) job!

Good luck.

What you should do is go into the emergency room and tell them that you are having bad stomach aches and that your pregnant. This way they will run a test on you and you will be able to find out if everything is ok... Do not worry, everything is going to be alright. (Good Luck)!!!!!
