It must be said that the 80's really were owned by Michael Jackson. He made the 80's really. First of all Billie Jean and Beat it became the first songs to be played by MTV from a black artist, because before that MTV wouldnt play any black artists on their channel. It only use to be rock from white guys. Secondly, His song Thriller and more importantly the video to Thriller really changed the art of video making. Before that point it was acceptable for a singer to just stand around infront of a microphone and sing their song. So from that I would have to choose Billie jean as my 80's song. The thing about that song is that even when you listen to it now or if it were released today it wouldnt be out of place even though its almost 25 years old now.

I love so many I couldn't;t name them all, but the one that is most memorable is Chain Reaction by Diana Ross, because it was the music played at a fashion show that I did for Top shop when I was about 11!!!!! Sad I know, but I thought I was the bees knees.
