Most recent I can remember was Harvick doing it at Bristol in the Spring race last year, when some sort of engine change or something relegated him to the back of the field and he ended up winning.

Yep a good driver can do it. I have seen Jimmie Johnson come from several laps down to win the race, that was even before the Lucky Dog rule.
