That's a really great question. The answer is definitely no, but your reasoning is not too far off track. You should read up on
sonoluminescence
which is similar to what you are aluding to. Basically in this process thermal energy produced from sound is converted into light. Only a few materials can do this. When an animal like a lightening bug makes light they do it from chemical energy and this is a different effect.
But your body is radiating IR frequency radiation and if we could turn that into higher frequency radiation we would be violating some thermodynamic principles.

Only if you're on fire. The electro-magnetic energy we emit is at a much lower energy level, or frequency than light. Fireflies do it through a nifty little chemical reaction to attract dates, but we evolved fancy cars and clever pickup lines for that.

You are correct we are emitting electromagnetic radiation beyond the red end of the visible spectrum.
It is possible to emit light by static discharge, brush your dry hair with a plastic comb or rub your shoes along synthetic carpet, then touch a metal surface, you will see a spark.

Everything emits some sort of electromagnetic radiation, but not visible light.

sure if they wanted to they can genetically engineer for bioluminescence since all the energy your body generates is chemical. Some fish have been modifed with the jellyfish gene
