why do you always pinpoint me on buses, trains, tubes to be your friend?why not pick on the friendly looking old lady that sits near to me do i have a radar that attracts the weird freaky people?

That could be anything about you. Likesay, people maybe racists, jealous (about your look, your clothings, things you are using and other silly things like that), or you're doing something people think it's rude while you're not awaring of it, or being too loud (both volume of your voice, too colorful outfits...etc.) and so on.
Try checking yourself with your friend first. See if you're doing something people generally don't like. Talk to your parents, it's always the best way for checking things up. ;)

Usually it means that you look like a person who is comfortable with yourself...which is why they feel safe talking to you.Take it as a compliment that you must have a caring nature.People do it to me all the time,I just meet someone in a random situation like in a shop and they pour their heart out and tell me their life story.If you really don't like it,try to make no eye contact and busy yourself with a book or ipod etc.

i think that's ur problem, u waste too much time wasting what other people think about you. dont take it personally i used to be that way till i went to high school. so just forget what people think about u. k. u should only care about what ur loved once think about u, and sorry about ur parents
