Global dimming will not cause more extreme environment change because it is working against global warming. It SHOULD be creating a more stable environment in our current situation (with global warming).

Global dimming is caused by mostly dust particles in the atmosphere. When warming occurs, then there is more extreme climate which means stronger winds, less rains (or more depending on location). Means drier soil which blows away easily. These 2 things work together to make the dust in the atmosphere.

More dust in the atmosphere means that less sunlight will get through, which means that the world should be cooling due to the negative feedback. (an effect that REDUCES the overall effect).

But this global dimming is not nearly powerfull enough to stop global warming. Also, with all the soil going into the atmosphere and then we dont have anywhere to grow crops! So not all things are good about global dimming.

Global Dimming is evident every day as more and more people prove that they did not study spelling, grammar, or English. This will lead to greater dimming as time passes.
